RAE Systems SampleRAE Automatic Pump

The SampleRAE Automatic Sampling Pump is a battery-powered pump designed to work with industrial standard gas detection tubes or sorbent tubes for fixed volume sampling. It replaces both a manual hand pump and a personal sampling pump in a single compact package. It is ergonomically designed to be comfortably held by hand or worn on a belt. It is particularly suitable for applications in exposure monitoring or gas detection in chemical factory, refinery and gas storage facility, etc.

The SampleRAE consists of a diaphragm pump, an airflow sensor with associated microcomputer, and electronic circuit. The unit is housed in a rugged ABS + PC case with a backlit 1 line by 8 characters dot matrix LCD and 3 keys to provide easy operator interface.

The air flow sensor and diaphragm pump combine to allow a fixed volume of air sample to be absorbed into the gas detection tube or sorbent tube with a single push of a button.
The built-in microprocessor monitors the precise amount of air sample to be collected and informs the user about the status of the sample collection operation.
