MSA Passport® Multi-Gas Monitors

The Passport personal alarm is a very compact instrument designed to monitor Combustible Gases & Oxygen in confined spaces such as manholes, storage tanks, tank cars, vaults, mines and sewers. The face of the instrument simultaneously displays the readings of all gases monitored. Microprocessor-based, the instrument is menu-driven for ease of operation with various menu activities for calibration and display options. A wide range of display pages including Peak Exposure, STEL and TWA can be activated to provide customized operation. All but one model shipped complete with a Ni-Cad battery pack, which provides for eight to ten hours of operation, and 110-volt charger. The R-1000AP monitor comes with alkaline batteries. The pump module is included with all rental models and comes complete with a sample probe and 10' sampling line, making it ideal for confined space monitoring. The Passport is also capable of storing data and downloading it to a PC through the Data Docking Module, ordered separately. Data can be presented in ASCII text or in a Lotus 1-2-3™ Format through the software. The Passport stores data in one-minute increments which is an average of multiple readings taken in each minute.
