Hot spots and victims can be detected as close as two feet away and up to 600 feet away. The Eagle Imager I features reliable and affordable BST technology, glass/mineral filled nylon housing, a large three position swiveled viewing screen, 8-14 Micron spectral response, three (3) hour battery life (standby mode extends battery life), heat sensor included, user-friendly controls operate with gloved hands and the power source is a commercially available, no memory NiMH battery.
