Marsh 2000 Flo-Mate Flow Meter

Marsh McBirney's Model 2000 Flo-Mate is a lightweight, water resistant submersible flow meter designed for open-channel applications. Turbulent/noisy flows are easily metered with two optional data averaging features, Fixed Period Averaging or Constant Mode. Standard outputs include feet/second and meters/second. When the sensor is placed in flowing water, its magnetic field creates a voltage which is sensed by electrodes in the sensor and is transmitted through the 20' cable to the meter.

The voltage amplitude, representing the rate of water flowing around the sensor, is electronically processed and displayed on the panel.
